watching the interview i couldnt help but look away a few times because reading the book is one thing but watching it is another. this man is slowly wasting away and yet i see that he's living his life in such a way that healthly kids that i know don't. hes taking advantage of the time he has left, and from the book, "lifes beauty". I, myself, dont even take advantages that im offered or appreciate the things that i have.
after reading the book i found myself after one chapter, in particularly, not wanting to read the enquiror or watch the insider. two lines i absolutely loved were "love others or perish" and "love is the only rational act". they talk about how we should live our lives to help others and things that should be important to us and there's not alot of books that ive read that acknowledge things like this. i honestly love this book.
